Monation gives nonprofits two things: a beautiful donate widget you paste onto your existing website, and Campaign Pages, hosted donation pages for a specific push. Both are designed to convert more visitors into donors, without taking a cut of what they give.
Most platforms take a percentage of every gift, which grows the more you raise. Monation charges one honest flat monthly fee (with a free tier), and you keep 100% of every donation. On $250,000 raised a year, that difference is often more than $10,000 back to your mission.
No. The widget drops onto whatever site you already have, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or hand-coded HTML, with a single line of code. Campaign Pages are hosted by us so you do not need to build anything.
Never. We charge a flat subscription and take 0% of donations. The only fees on a gift are your own payment processor's standard rates, which go to them, not us.
Straight to you. Donations are collected by your own payment processor (like Stripe or PayPal) or your linked donation page and land in your account. Monation never touches or holds the funds.
Stripe and PayPal for inline giving, and a smart prefilled hand-off to pages like Donorbox, Givebutter, and Every.org. If you have a donation page already, the widget can simply link out to it.
There is a free plan, and paid plans at $29 (Starter), $79 (Growth), and $199 (Pro) per month, chosen by the size of your organization rather than how much you raise. Every paid plan includes a 14-day free trial with no card required.
Yes. If you only raise at certain times of year, you can pause your plan for a small dormant fee and pick up right where you left off, with your widget, data, and settings intact.
Yes. You can pay your monthly fee by card for instant setup, or connect a bank account (ACH) for lower processing costs, handy for organizations that prefer paying vendors straight from their operating account.
A hosted, shareable donation page at monation.org/c/your-cause, with your logo, banner, story, and the donate widget built in. It is perfect for a year-end drive, a giving day, or a memorial fund.
Each page runs for a 45-day window. On the Free plan a page is $9.99. On any paid plan your first page is included free, and additional pages are $9.99 each. You can extend a page for another 45 days anytime for $9.99.
It shows a warm thank-you message with your final total and a link to your main site, rather than disappearing or breaking. You can extend it anytime to reopen it.
A clear funnel: impressions (how many people saw your widget or page), opens, donations started, and donations completed, with the conversion rate at each step. Paid plans add breakdowns by traffic source, device, and country, plus trends over time. Higher tiers unlock more history and more detail.
No. Analytics are measured first-party on our own servers, with no cookies and no third-party trackers like Meta Pixel or Google Analytics. Unique visitors are estimated with a daily-rotating, one-way hash, not a persistent identifier, so nobody is tracked across sites or over time.
Yes. We verify your EIN against public IRS records so donors see a "verified 501(c)(3)" trust mark before they give.
